MY FAVORITE RECIPES

I workout, therefore I EAT!  And I love to eat.  Fortunately, I love to cook as well.  Whether I'm making an old family recipe, or searching the internet for a new family recipe, ou can find me in the kitchen messing up the pots and pans.  Hey, experimenting is half the fun of cooking, the other half is EATING!!!

Good Morning Green Drink

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup filtered or spring water

  • 2 cups chopped spinach

  • 1 cup chopped romaine lettuce

  • 1 small apple (or half a large one)

  • 1/2 banana

  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice


Blend the water, spinach and romaine.  Add the apple, banana and lemon juice, and blend again until smooth!

YIELDS APPROX. 24 OZ

Yellow SunShine Smoothie

INGREDIENTS:

  • Yellow Bell Peppers

  • Yellow Watermelon

  • 1/2 banana

  • Fresh Pineapple

  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

Blend with (1) cup of ice water.

YIELDS APPROX. 24 OZ


IPSO FACTO:  Yellow Watermelon is a great source of Vitamins A&C and high in LYCO.
